DESCRIPTION

A 100% linen sport weight yarn with a lovely natural sheen and a slightly rustic texture that gives finished pieces a really beautiful, organic look. Linen has a reputation for being stiff and scratchy, but Lino is notably softer than a lot of pure linen yarns and it only gets better with time, becoming more supple and drapey the more you wash and wear it. It has a variable gauge that spans from fingering to DK depending on your needle size and tension, which makes it a flexible choice if you want to swatch and experiment. It is breathable, strong, and a pleasure to work with once you get used to the feel of plant fibre in your hands. Also worth noting that it is OEKO-TEX certified and completely vegan. A wonderful yarn for the warmer months.
