More beautiful work from Tanya Weichel of Gilbert Lane Studio in Southampton, Ontario. This time on a 75% merino and 25% nylon DK weight base, with the same thoughtful, small batch hand-dyeing that makes her fingering weight so special. The nylon content gives it a little extra durability and the merino base is soft and lovely to work with. The colourways are rich and carefully considered, and the DK weight opens up a whole range of garment possibilities. Another great way to support a talented local maker just down the road on the shores of Lake Huron.
