Local farmer and fibre artist Bonnie Perry has created a unique line of sock yarn using fleece from her farm pets - Romney sheep and Alpacas.
Bonnie has created 4 gorgeous colourways of fingering weight yarn in a Wool (40%) an Alpaca (60%) blend. Her palette is inspired by the 4 seasons and she provides the name of each of her farm pets on the label. Use it to make the warmest of socks or a one-of-a-kind shawl. 373m-408 yards/skein.
The fleece is spun at a mill in Elora, Ontario, then Bonnie hand-paints the fiber on her farm in Chatsworth, just outside Owen Sound, Ontario.
This sock yarn is truly farm-to-store. We have limited quantities of this very special yarn available.
