Knit a Pair of Fingerless Gloves

Description: In this 3 hour class, you will learn to knit a pair of fingerless gloves (Adult Medium) using Maize by Tin Can Knits.

Pre-requisite Skills: knitting in the round on double pointed needles or using Magic Loop, increasing and decreasing, weaving in ends (Knit 2 skills)

Materials required: You will need a set of 4mm double pointed needles or a long (80cm/32” or 100cm/40”) circular needle if you prefer Magic Loop for small circumference knitting.  You will need approximately 100g of #4 Medium Worsted Weight yarn, as well as two locking stitch markers and a darning needle.  The pattern is a free download from either or Tin Can (Free Patterns/Maize Mittens).  Tin Can Knits generously gives us free use of this pattern but they request that each student download and print their own copy. 


Cost: $45 + HST

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Class refundable up to 72 hours before the class. After this, you will receive a credit to take another class of your choice.

Health Measures: We will wear masks and we encourage you to do so. Please do not come to class if you feel unwell in any way (cough, fever, cold symptoms, sore throat).  You will receive a class credit.  Thank you for your understanding.
